Welcome to the

Fleet Learning Zone 

The Fleet Learning Zone is a newly established 'Playing for Success' (PfS) Study Support Centre based at Ebbsfleet United Football Club, Northfleet, Kent. The Department of Children, Schools and Families have joined forces with Kent County Council to allow the Playing for Success scheme to benefit children in the region, boosting their key skills in Mathematics, Literacy and ICT.

The Fleet Learning Zone is part of the Kent Playing for Success initiative to provide out of hours school study support for 9-14 year olds in the local area. Schools will be invited to choose pupils to attend the after school sessions, which are provided free of charge. The centre will provide an informal learning environment, with a fun and interactive curriculum based around football to help raise attainment in the key skills of Literacy, ICT and Mathematics. The Fleet Learning Zone also looks to remove barriers to education and develop self-esteem and motivation.
